【摘要】:1Thisstandardspecifiesthetechnicalsafetyrequirementsandmeasurestobeadoptedbypersonsundertakingthedesign,constructionandsupply(includinginstallationanddismantling,witharrangementsfortransportandmaintenance)ofmillingmachines(see3.1)includingmachinescapableofperformingboringoperations(see3.5).Machinescoveredbythisstandardincludebutarenotlimitedto:-kneeandcolumntypemillingmachines(seefiguresC.1,C.2);-bed-typemillingmachines(seefigureC.3);-multi-spindlemillingmachines(seefiguresC.4andC.5);-plano-millingmachines(seefiguresC.4andC.5);-profileandcontouringmillingmachines(seefigureC.6),-millingandboringmachines(seefigureC.7).2Thisstandardtakesaccountofintendeduseincludingreasonablyforeseeablemisuse,maintenance,cleaning,andsettingoperations.Itpresumesaccesstothemachinefromalldirections.Itdescribesmeanstoreduceriskstooperatorsandotherexposedpersons.3Thisstandardalsoappliestoworkpiecetransferdeviceswhentheyformanintegralpartofthemachine.4Thisstandarddealswithsignificanthazardsrelevanttomillingmachineswhentheyareusedasintendedandundertheconditionsforeseenbythemanufacturer(seeclause4).5Hazardsarisingfromothermetalworkingprocesses(e.g.grinding,turning,forming,EDM,laserprocessing)arecoveredbyotherstandards(seeBibliography).6Millingmachineswithautomatictoolchangingcapabilitiesarenotcoveredbythisstandard(seeprEN12417:1996).7ThisstandardisnotapplicabletomillingmachineswhichweremanufacturedbeforethedateofpublicationbyCENofthisstandard.
