【摘要】:Thisstandardspecifiesthemethodtodeterminetheabilityofanadhesivetapetoresistimpactforces.Anadhesivetapemaypossessadequatebreakingandtearstrengthstowithstandasteadyforce,butitmaylacksufficientimpactstrengthtowithstandtheshockforcessometimesexperiencedinuse.Themaximumwidthofadhesivetapetestedbythismethodis25mm.Forrollsofadhesivetapeofthiswidthorless,theimpactresistancemeasuredcorrespondstothatofadhesivetapeassuppliedcommercially,i.e.withfactory-cutedges.Forrollsofadhesivetapewiderthan25mm,thistestmethodprovidesfortheadhesivetapetobecutdownto25mmwithawell-sharpenedinstrumentInsuchcases,becauseofthebettercuttingoftheedges,theresultsmaybehigherthanwouldbefoundoncommerciallysuppliedadhesivetape.
