【摘要】:Thistestmethodgivesanindicationoftherelativewearresistanceofmortarandconcretebasedontestingofcoredorfabricatedspecimens.Thistestmethodhasbeensuccessfullyusedinthequalitycontrolofhighwayandbridgeconcretesubjecttotraffic.Primarilyintendedforuseonthetopendsof152-mm[6-in.]diameterconcretecores,mortarspecimens,orothersamplesofconcreteofinsufficienttestareatopermittheconductoftestsbyTestMethodC418orC779/C779M,thistestmethodisalsoapplicableonconcretesurfacesinplacebymeasuringtheabrasionlossasdescribedinSection9,ProcedureB,ofTestMethodC779/C779M.1.1Thistestmethodcoversaprocedurefordeterminingtheresistanceofeitherconcreteormortartoabrasion.ThistestmethodissimilartoProcedureBofTestMethodC779/C779M.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsorinchx2013;poundunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemmaynotbeexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnonx2013;conformancewiththestandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
