【摘要】:Thisdocumentprovidesguidanceforthedesignandlocationofcard-activateddevicesandtheimmediateenvironment,tofacilitateaccessforthewidestpossiblerangeofusers(all/mostmembersofthecommunity),subjecttoconditionsofadequateprivacyandsecurity.Thecontentsofthisdocumentaregenericallybased,notsectorspecific,andcover“card-activateddevice”,thegenerictermusedinthisdocumenttoencompass:a)terminals(devicewithcardreaderandothercomponentssuchaskeyboardanddisplays);b)standalonecardreaders(accesscontrolforbuilding,publictransport);c)handhelddevices(e.g.mobilephonewhenusedtoaccessothercard-activateddevices).Card-activateddevicesmaybeusedeitherbypedestriansorcardrivers.Thisdocumentmayalsobeappliedtodevicesthatarenotcard-activated,e.g.theymaybeactivatedbynotes,coins,tickets,tokens,touchorotherinteractionwiththeuser.(Contextofuseincludes:unattended,publicandhomeuse,handheld).Thisdocumentaddressesthecard-activateddeviceanditsimmediatevicinity.Itdoesnotaddresstheentirebuilding/localityinwhichthecard-activateddeviceislocated.(ThereaderisreferredtoappropriateISO,CENandnationalstandardsforguidanceondesigningaccessiblebuiltenvironments.Itshouldbenotedthatnationallegislation,standardsandguidancehavedifferentrequirements).Theterm“wheelchair”inthisdocumentreferstomanuallypropelledwheelchairs,notpowerdrivenones,whichareoftenofdifferentdimensionsinrelationtomanuallypropelledwheelchairs.
